Situated in a small complex in New Farm, this top floor apartment received full renovations and reconfiguration of the kitchen and balcony spaces. The addition of more internal floor area granted a larger and more functional kitchen, while also creating a generous entry sequence. The materials and finishes that tie each space together, along with the refined entrance to the apartment, were designed to create a homely yet sophisticated aesthetic.

The fully integrated kitchen, with hidden appliances and minimalist cabinetry, allows the space to be better connected to the living areas and function both practically on a daily basis and seamlessly within an entertainment setting. The surrounding balcony has been divided into separate spaces, creating intimate outdoor areas for entertaining. Custom planters create a generous scale to the outdoors and enable lush greenery to flourish, softening the existing edge condition. 

To compliment the tones of charcoal, black and white, we sourced modern furniture and artwork with a rich and textured palette.
