This Toowoomba residence is a sanctuary for the client’s family, drawing inspiration from Spicers Peak Lodge. Seeking their ‘forever family home’, the client’s brief combined practical design with high-end modern finishes. Natural materials create a textured and moody palette, complementing the property’s surrounding lush green lawns and landscaped gardens. We sourced Victorian Bluestone for a large stone fireplace, the home’s centrepiece. Our designers worked closely with the client’s own cabinetry company on all aspects of the new build, emphasising detailed craftsmanship within the home. The design and decoration accentuates a sense of homeliness, focusing on small areas to create intimacy within. Most furnishings were sourced through local Australian Designers, including artworks from local and indigenous artists.
