A long time Brisbane resident, firm director Claire Stevens has steadily built a name as Queensland’s young interior designer to watch.

A graduate of the Queensland University of Technology, with a Bachelor of Built Environment in Interior Design, she was awarded  ‘Head of School’ upon graduating, and was named Design Institute of Australia’s ‘Queensland Emerging Student Designer’ the following year.

After two years at one of Australasia’s largest architectural firms, The Buchan Group, she joined bespoke firm COOP Creative and worked on a myriad of projects across the retail, hospitality and commercial sectors.  Many of which have not only graced the pages of Vogue Living, Artichoke, The Australian Financial Review, and House and Garden, but also won awards on both state and national levels.

After leaving COOP in 2012, Claire founded her own firm and is currently completing a range of projects across South East Queensland. When not in the CSID office, or flicking through fabric swatches, she can be spotted at Double Shot Espresso, walking George the dog in New Farm Park, or writing on her blog, a place she documents her travel, design and culinary developments.
