Designed by architect Geoff Cook, this Warwick residence celebrates its picturesque country locality. Most of the rooms in this split-level home feature expansive landscape views. For our designers, the selection of internal finishes, fittings and furnishings had to balance a modern country home and landscape with the client’s love for art deco. The moody blue and purple colour palette throughout, and the use of herringbone timber flooring and fish scale tiles, each pay homage to the era. We paired the client’s existing pieces, such as a sofa sourced from San Fran and reupholstered in aqua fabric and contrast piping, with antique furniture and contemporary editions. The result is a unique family home that balances a moody and intimate character with the fresh and modern.
