One of Shaun Lockyer Architects’ earlier designs, this contemporary home boasts panoramic views of the city. Softness and warmth was added to the residence, while uniting the young family’s colourful vision for their home.

The client’s brief envisaged a unique style in every room. Together with the client, we formed concepts for each space, such as ‘Liberace Splendour’ for living and dining, ‘Miami Beach House’ for outdoor spaces, a Moroccan master suite, and an Alice in Wonderland inspired playroom. From our designs and planning emerged a cohesive, yet eclectic, sophisticated family home.

We sourced furniture and artwork from around the world, decorated and completed minor works on the house, and adapted a downstairs storage room into a ‘Seaside Cabana’ cellar. The result is a refined and richly layered interior, imbued with character and personality.
